BMI MMPDS-2026, Volume II provides statistically based material allowables, mechanical and physical properties, and qualification guidance for process intensive metallic materials and advanced joining technologies used in aerospace applications.

This volume covers additively manufactured (AM) metals, friction stir-welded (FSW) joints, material qualification requirements, and statistical data analysis procedures. Material data are compiled from testing performed by aerospace manufacturers, material suppliers, fastener manufacturers, and government agencies, then reviewed and analyzed in accordance with MMPDS procedures before publication.
