Purpose of Helicopter Refuelling manual, regulations and publications – This section covers the responsibilities which are defined by regulation and draws a distinction between these and other duties which may be allocated to the HLO within the organisational arrangements of each offshore installation
Aviation fuel – This section covers an overview of the composition of fuel, standards and testing required to ensure that only acceptable and on-specification fuel is presented for use on offshore refuelling installations.
Offshore fuelling systems – This section presents an overview of offshore refuelling system layout and functionality.
Filtration, water separation and detection – This section covers the basic principles of design and operating principals of filter vessels installed within an offshore refuelling system, focusing on the mandatory Filter/Water Separator as well as covering supplementary filtration methods.
