Printed editions will be shipped via regular mail or UPS, depending on the total cost of order. If you prefer shipment on your own DHL, FedEx or UPS account, no problem!

We ship to most locations around the globe. Non-EU orders may take up to 10 business days for delivery, EU countries 1-3 days. Is your country missing? Send an e-mail to publications@kreisler.nl and we’ll see what we can do for you!

Shipping costs are directly related to the size & weight of the package and of course, country of destination. In addition, we may factor in an additional amount to cover packing materials, and any special handling considerations that may be required to ship the package.

If you need 15 copies or more of the same title, please contact us for the correct shipping costs and possible discounts.

The shipping costs are determined separately for each shipment based on the destination and the number of items ordered. To calculate the specific shipping costs for your order, you can add the items you want to buy to your shopping cart and send us your order. You will receive a (temporary) order confirmation from us on which the shipping costs are stated. In some cases we will give you two shipping options.

The delivery time on our website is stated in working days. If available from stock, your order will be delivered the next day or second day, depending on country of destination. If the delivery time is listed as 3 to 5 days, then it is mostly impossible to ship it to you by the next day. If you need your item very urgently, please contact us to explore your options.

When your package is shipped with UPS, you’ll receive an e-mail with a tracking number when we ship your order. This will contain a link to the UPS website to see the current status and location of your package. However, if your package is shipped with regular mail, there’s no option to track and trace.

Since most books are shipped from within The Netherlands, there are never any customs fees or duties on Netherlands-based orders. However, any duties, taxes, or customs-related costs imposed by another destination country are the sole responsibility of the customer/recipient and will not be paid for or reimbursed by Kreisler Import BV at any time for any reason.

When the packaged was shipped with UPS, DHL, FedEx or any other courier, you need to sign for delivery.

Your privacy is important to us! We are committed to meeting your privacy protection expectations. International shipments are subject to checks by customs authorities. We are also required to provide our shippers with certain details such as company name and address and product information. If necessary, this information is passed on to customs authorities for clearance purposes, while also helping to ensure that your shipment is processed quickly and in compliance with local laws.

It’s easy to return an item if you’re not satisfied. Returns are accepted within 7 days of the date that you received your order. Items must be returned in their original condition; shrink-wrapped products must be unopened.

If there is an error on our part related to your order (if we have shipped you the wrong book or CD, or if the ordered items arrive in damaged condition), we will either send you a replacement of the ordered item or issue a credit for your order and any applicable shipping charges.

If you have ordered the wrong title or item, returns may be subject to a restocking fee up to 25%. In that case, shipping & handling charges cannot be refunded.

Items that cannot be returned:
Purchases of downloadable documents as pdf, e-book, e-pub, CDs, subscription services, database access, age-dated materials or bulk orders of 15 or more copies are final and cannot be returned for refund or credit. If you are dissatisfied with the digital purchase, please contact us.

RMA
Prior to returning any product, it will be necessary to contact us to receive a Return Material Authorization (RMA) Number. You will then receive a RMA number. This number should be plainly visible on the outside of the package. Components, standards, books, DVDs and CDs (in their original, unopened, shrink-wrapped condition) can be mailed with the original packing slip to:

There are two types of pdf files:

  • a standard PDF file without security (single user)
  • DRM Secured PDF – The PDF files will be “locked” to the computer on which it was first opened. Once a PDF file has been locked to a computer, it can be opened only from that computer. You must download a FileOpen plugin before you can open your document.

What does DRM stands for?
DRM stands for Digital Rights Management, or copyright for digital products.

Can I return an e-book?
On digital / downloadable products, including an e-book, there is no right of return.
