ADR 2025 – Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road – 2 Volumes

The ADR is intended to increase the safety of international transport of dangerous goods by road.
The Agreement has been regularly amended and updated since its entry into force to establish international requirements and procedures for training and safety obligations of participants.
Annex A: General provisions and provisions concerning dangerous articles and substances, in particular, packaging and labelling.
Annex B: Provisions concerning transport equipment and transport operations, in particular, construction, equipment and operation of the vehicle carrying the goods in question.
The structure of the ADR s consistent with that of the United Nations Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Model Regulations, the International Maritime Dangerous Goods Code (of the International Maritime Organization), the Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air (of the International Civil Aviation Organization) and the Regulations concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Rail (of the Intergovernmental Organization for International Carriage by Rail).
